**** LS motors. LTx, SBC or something weird. Sure, LS makes great power, and pretty efficiently, but they're literally everywhere. LTx can be a heavy hitter.

Just really need better intake designs. Is it still just Edelbrock or ported stock, right? Anyone doing sheet metal intakes for LT1?

There have been Holley Stealth Ram intakes converted, single plane conversions, yes a few sheetmetal intakes have been built and the one that actually really interests me is the TPIS Miniram. I'd really like to see what it's capable of in ported form. i think the biggest complaint with the stock manifold is actual plenum volume, you're only just going to be able to hog out so much. The Miniram offers more plenum volume from the getgo. Unfortunately it's a $900 gamble that not many people have tried so who really knows the results unless you start digging around for some SBC builds using the Miniram originally designed for TPI cars. Problem with that is I'm uncertain if it's an unchanged design for the LTX from the original.

Any SBC intake will work. Clear cowl? Thats another issue
