Thanks. After the rose colored glasses wore off I found some places that need to be hit w/ a buffer. Waiting for the SS badges to come in and I'll bring it up when I go back.

Best exhaust on the market for these cars for looks and exhaust note. IMO of course. My BIL had to talk me into that color. I was originally going to go for white, but decided not to. Rarest color of the SS.
Can't help myself....

Hell yea, looks awesome. Love that color too. I hear ya on needing paint, mines like 5 different colors and finishes with a homemade cowl hood. Looks like doo doo with expensive *** welds on it.
It looks great!

That clearcoat really did let go...kind of surprised it let go that bad. I've got some indications that it may be starting to release on my rear bumper cover. If you look really close, you can see very small white opaque bubble like spots on the top bumper. I think it's releasing in those areas....you'd never know 3' away, but get 3" away and you can see it. Kind of like the top of your spoiler, only much smaller. I think keeping it out of the sun(UV and heat) has helped it hang on. I didn't have a garage until '05.
My plans are to get the front and rear bumper covers painted in the next couple of years. My front one has needed it for over 8 years....the flat black areas are checking out due to the air flow in those areas.
I'll see if I can get a good close up picture of the rear cover for the heck of it.

But, looks awesome. I want to get mine redone so bad, but gonna have to wait.
Did you have them repaint it completely, or just wetsand and reclear it? Ive always liked that blue as well, when done good and shiny, its just a beauty.

Thanks again all. For now, I'm just happy letting it sit in the garage and smelling the fresh paint.
Fun fact- Hood paint was from SLP. Paint on the quarter was from GM from their body shop after someone hit me and left a softball sized dent in front of the gas cap. Where they blended is what is peeling.
Years ago, maybe 1998? A paint guy was looking at my car and he noticed there was discoloration in the hood and told me that **** was going to let go. I thought he was full of **** because I couldn't see anything. About 5 years later.....

haha I bought the car for $250 and two old playboys. Guy on here was parting out a turbo build with like 2500 miles on it and scored his welds, S60, suspension pieces and few other odds and ends for like $2100..
My ss is is doing the same thing. Minor peeling on the hood and spoiler only. Eventually I'll take them in to get redone. Speaking of totl I am looking for one and having zero luck. The guy who owned mine chopped it off and welded on thrush mufflers just before these ugly tips. Might have to settle for spintechs version or build my own I guess. Car looks great though! Love that color.
