1995 z28 questions and value.

Looking at this 95 z to flip

Guy said 95s are a 1 year only specific transmission, I call b.s. and assume any 94 to 97 trans will fit. So I'd need a trans and converter, possibly go performance converter? Since trans is out probably do long tubes. I've had 2 lt1s and like them. This car has 98k miles, light damage to passenger side fender and good. Interior needs cleaning plus headliner repair and probably misc stuff like broken hvac vents, console lid broken. the seats are actually good. I've done transmission work on lt1s before so no problem there. Has a slp cai and lcrs and cat back. I have 18/19 c6 wheels for it.

Think it's worth getting into for a lt1 car? Could just clean the interior, spray tack the headliner up, throw a used trans in it and sell but I think exhaust and maybe a stall could help sell it. Maybe a cc503 cam?

Couldn't find the rpo codes, knowing my luck it's a 2.73 car lol.

Thoughts? On it's value?

My thoughts are that you rarely ever get back the money you invest. I'd be Leary of throwing $1000 or more dollars at the car in hopes that it'll help sell it. That's a huge gamble that you can lose big on. My opinion is that if your goal is to flip it invest as as possible while making it a safe and presentable driver. The money you spend on go fast goodies may be of little interest to the possible buyer and could even be enough of a turn off for some to cost you a sale. That's my 2 cents.

If you find a used trans and converter for a few houndred dollars and install it yourself, you could make a profit. All that extra stuff will not make you any money. Expect to sell it for $3500.
