Canton Oil Pan WTF?!
Guess I'll just hope for the best, so far so good. But im also running the Melling 10553 ST* with the as-shipped high pressure spring and a Canton non-bypass filter base with standard SBC filter (running the large K&N filter) instead of that stupid tiny OEM filter. Once oil is up to temp it idles at 20psi and jumps to 40psi with any RPM bump. Stays within 10psi/1000rpm up to 6k (haven't revved it over that yet since im still on stock tune till next week).
That was on straight 30wt. break in oil too, its now on 20w-50 high zinc race oil so the pressures jumped up even more...
