1995 LT1 No Start, No Spark New here.
Have a 1995 Camaro Z28 39k miles. Had an issue that i cannot figure out, and have looked through these forums and others.
No start, cranks but no power out of A terminal on the coil.
I replaced the ICM, Coil and Optispark and still nothing. Checked opti outputs and they are good. Have fuel, as I hear the pump and get gas out of the rail via the schrader.
I hard wired the coil to the fuse block and still have no start. I have also confirmed power out of the PCM.
Only code pulled is for a bad temp sensor which i broke during this ordeal.
Could i have a bad ground or short somewhere? The car ran fine up until a week ago when i drove it and it cut off, started back up for a few min and shut back off again. It also backfired the last time it shut off.
