This piece of rubber on my car is about shot. Anyone have any recommendations for a replacement or have done so in the past? Looks to only be about 1" - 1.5" wide. Thanks!
Can you still get one new through GM or maybe a used one from Hawks Motorsports?
If I had a part number I'd try to go that route, but finding a part number or exploded diagram to get the part number has been tricky so far. Figured others might have come up with their own solutions. I think I am going to try to cut down a silicone coupler to the size I need.
That may be actually be a common parts bin coupler - it looks like the one the stock intake on my '03 GMC Sonoma had. May be worth checking a scrap yard
From the throttle body to the MAF, yes. Not from the MAF to the rest of the intake or in my case the Ram Air scoop.
I dunno... try looking around on their website? Call them and give them some dimensions? Or go to a junkyard. I’m sure there are other chevy cars that used that same coupler if there aren’t any f-bodys.
I would replace both couplers with universal ones and shorten them with some wire cutters, you can get them on ebay. I also have a Firehawk and hate how the MAF to TB coupler shrouds the butterflies.
