Chirping sound?

Chirping sound? 97Z A4
first long test drive after sitting for years. Also first real drive since 4L60E rebuild (did it myself.) And LT/ypipe.
( Also harmonic balancer, water pump, rad, cap&rotor, seals was done in 2019. Car sat after this was done. )
Last time car was driven a long period was in 2014. But I always started it and let it get up to temp over the years.
After I let the car get up to temp I took it to the hwy and did a few wot pulls. Car ran fine after about 3 pulls after this I got back on the hwy and did a 10-60 wot and I heard a brief clank sound and then the bird chirping noise started happening. Car runs fine and nothing unusual except for the noise.

Didn't hear chirping and sounded more like a lifter ticking. I wouldn't keep running it until I drained the oil and cut open the filter to examine the filter element for any bearing material. Let's hope that its not a spun camshaft bearing..
A chirp is usually bad news. Most likely a wiped bearing or lifter/cam lobe. Don't run it anymore until you find out what it is. If it is indeed a cam lobe it will rain hardened steel onto the piston skirts and severely damage the pistons and cylinder walls.

I know you guys said not to run it anymore. But here is a better video/sound. (Not sure why it uploaded in 480p, recorded it in 1080p/60).
When I cold start it the sound is very noticeable at idle. After it warms up, there's no sound at idle only when revving it. Sounds like it's coming from the passenger side valve cover area.
Hope this is an easy or cheap fix.. could it really be a bad can bearing etc.. if I don't have any driving issues? Other then the sound? I'm pretty new to stuff like this so sorry if I miss something obvious.

Verdad Gallardo Hopefully that is the case, but an exhaust leak at the head does not make noise on deceleration like this video. And to me it sounds like there’s mechanical noise involved.

it was my header bolts were loose. All of them. Specially the passenger side rear. It was very loose. Tighten them all up and no more bird noise in my engine.
So happy finally something simple for once.

Yup. I'll leave the video up. Was going to delete it. But I never imagined loosens bolts would make a sound like this. So it will deff help others.
I was already looking into parting the car out or just getting rid off it. Had it been something more serious.
