I just put a lm1 on my 95 z28 and my stock exhaust with a muffler delete was louder. Why is everyone saying the lm1 is so loud? Some people said things like it need broke in but would that really make it that much quieter than what people are describing it to be?

 

It is loud but not as loud as running with no muffler, lol.
Did you delete the cats?

 

I have not done that yet. I thought about it, do you recommend that?

 

depends. What are you trying to accomplish?
Of you want loud as hell, do long tubes, no cats, no mufflers, and true duals.
What is your goal for the car?

 

I want louder than I have now by a decent amount but can I do a cat and resonator delete? Is that going to make it much louder or just a little? I don't want it to sound stupid though. I want it to sound like a muscle car still.
I also just bought this exhaust and put it on already so I would like to work off this current setup.
