Default mufflex 3.5" or true duals

I currently have the Mufflex 3.5" system with a round case Magnaflow race muffler single in/out. Mods are LE2 setup, heads/cam/intake, Speed Engineering long tubes and Speed Engineering 3" y pipe . It sounds good, but I really like the look of a dual outlet exhaust instead of the single hideaway tailpipe.

I'm looking at the Speed Engineering true dual setup for the LS Camaro. Even though I have an LT1 I think I can make the system work. From what I see it should mostly bolt up except for the connections at the headers will need some fabrication as angles are different between LT1 and LS1. I can handle fabrication to make the system work and the rear exit tips look nice. I'm wondering if it's worth any gains over my current 3" Y to single 3.5" Mufflex system? I do not want to run a dumped system, so a rear exit is a must.

I went with the Mufflex system with the Spintech muffler with dual outlets because I liked the duals look: 93-97 Single 3.5" Cat Spintech W/ Dual Tailpipes (mufflex-performance.com)

Love the sound. As far as performance, I make 570 hp at the wheels with my set up.

I love my true duals. I got a shop to just make a setup for me. BMR makes a relocation bar (easy to install) that makes it easier to run true duals over the axle.

I already have the BMR panhard relocation bar installed so clearance should work. What I'm wondering is if there is a performance gain going from the 3.5" mufflex setup (using a straight through muffler) to a true dual setup like what Speed Engineering has. I currently have the speed engineering 3" y-pipe to 3.5" mufflex piping using a 3.5" round dynomax ultraflow muffler.
