Take a look at the attached picture. That is the hole in the block for the water pump drive shaft. Going electric so i dont need the shaft sitting there doing nothing. Is it necessary to plug this hole or can it stay open along with the two below it?
By the way i decided not to use the quarter trick and couldnt find a freeze plug that'd fit. So i got a 3/4" long allen head bolt and welded it to a fender washer, with a rubber washer behind that.
