I'm ditching the ASR module under my hood. however it seems that factory throttle cables are really hard to come by. So I was wondering if anyone here has tried the LT!/TPI throttle cables that Lokar offers.Does it hook like the factory so I can just toss it into the car in a day or does it require custom fabbing to make it work with the factory pedal/ throttle body.

 

I can't answer the Lokar cable question, but I ditched traction control on my 96. I just searched and found a non traction control LT1 cable on ebay and quickly bought it. This was just last summer, so I know they are still around, just takes some time and searching to locate one. Check with Hawks as well as they might have a used one.
