Oh man, I hope I didnt F'anythng up when I did mine. I used a wire wheel, then a 3m 120grit bristle wheel and got the surface super clean! Engine was on the stand and I covered up the lifter valley and shop vac'd the whole thing thoroughly. I didnt think it could take down the material that much. .008 is a lot. I didnt bear down too hard. She's back in the car and running now. I guess we'll see how well those Fel-Pro head gaskets keep'er sealed.
