Isn't that a heat shield in the way?

Crows foot wrench doesn't look like the tool. I'd use a thin wall socket.

It's not. You want a fastener as close to the primary as possible for clamping force. Throw those bolts away and get these:
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/arp-100-1110

I'm sure they have them in stainless as well, but for the life of me I couldn't find them, regardless the ARP's linked have a 5/16" hex head and will make bolting them in FAR easier than a 3/8". If you've never installed headers before a good trick is to get gaskets where the ends have slots instead of bolt holes (Fel-Pro 1406). That way you can at least start the header onto the head with one bolt where it is easiest to get to. Just start the bolt. Don't tighten it. Then put the two end bolts on loosely. Take out the initial bolt and then slide the gasket in place and then put in all other bolts and tighten accordingly (starting from inside out).

Took my sweet *** time today just finished the driver side. Was pretty easy.

This is before bolts were torqued. Off to the passengers side tomorrow.

what’s your advice on getting the 2nd to the rear most bolt out on the passengers side? The shield on the manifold sits right on top of the bolt.

gotta hold you tongue right, and usually takes a coded string of profanities. Kinda like Stargate, youll have to use the right tones and tempos.

Jack it up as high as you can, remove all the rest of the exhaust, starter should be gone, and i think i may have loosened motor mounts as well. Hard to remember, was 2018 or 19 when i did mine in the street of my mother in laws house.
