What is this and where does it go? - new part found, don't know what it is
Hey the PO gave me this part and said it was a fan switch or something. To me it looks like some sort of temperate sender so maybe that's it. What i want to know is does this fit my car (he said local shops didnt know where it went) and if so where does it install to? It looks new to me.
(yes that's a bee on my arm in the 2nd pic)
Thanks guys,
shawn

Isn't there some special way to drain/flush our coolant systems? Some air bleeder valve or something. I've been meaning to do a coolant flush but i didnt want my car to overheat because of some trapped air pocket.

Ok, on the passenger side strut cover there are two connectors. One of them WILL fit this connector. What do they go to?
I don't know what it goes to at all. I figured it was probably the wrong year or something but he said it was a fan switch to make the fans come on at a lower temp.

follow the wires
more then likely there for the computer and as far as just excatly wtf it is i have no clue
i could see that being an after market fan switch from someone as the fan wires are in that connector here is the one SLP offers and has the same plugin

Well it would make sense then if mine were a temp sensor right? The brass sender would get the fans to active at a lower temperature correct? The pic does look almost like the same connector. Tomorrow i will take a pic of the wires and connector i am talking about. I followed them but it looks like it just goes right into the main harnass. So where would the temp sender be?

Found one. It is a fan switch. So it activates at 200 and shuts off at 185? Is that really any better performance? I was thinking i wanted something running aorund like 160ish.
