Default Polished fuel rails and top of intake (pics inside)

For the past couple days Ive been polishing the top of the intake on the car. whenever I've had some free time I would do that. I started off by sanding the top. I sanded it with 300 grit sandpaper until it was completely sanded with that grit, next I moved up too 400 grit and did the same thing. Then to 600 you get the point, I finished with 1000 grit. Then I buffed it with busches aluminum polish (it came in a bar form), then changed pads and did the same with busches liquid alum. polish. I think it turned out pretty good. Check out my cardomain page...its in page 3

has anyone else done this... pics?

thanx, let me know what you think

That looks absolutely great. I painted mine yellow ( with matching yellow valve covers) on my vette, but I think that looks great.

Mine. Polishing the top would look nice with the FRC. Thanks again for the idea.
