Uhm... I think 10.5-1 Compression... Least MSN autos says that on my Fleetwood's LT1... I dont have my owner's manual available, the car is still parked safely at UCF because of Hurricane Frances.

yes, I average about 22-24mpg highway, 19-21 city. I have a 97 formula 2.73s A4 with slp CAI, Granatelli maf, hyptertech 160 stat with a hypertech programmer. Once the 4.10s go in, i'm expecting a 2-3mpg drop.

I think someone said one time gas mileage in an LT-1 is inversly proportional to how much fun you have.
The AC is better myth only applies to the highway. It's pure physics, without thinking too hard I remember the airflow is proportional to velocity squared(someone who has a few more braincells than I right now back me up). Just stick your hand out of the window at 25MPH not much but at 50MPH it should have about ~4 times the effect at 75 ~9 times the effect(see where im going MR. 100 on the highway).
BTW They really hate when you do it but tailgate semi's on the highway because of the aforementioned reason of airflow. You must get really close for this to work. You can seriously increase fuel ecomnomy by about 30-40% at least(havent been able to do it for an entire tank of gas but it really works).
94 Formula(bolt on)15-17-city/ 26.5 only time I was on the highway enough to eat an entire tank of gas.
I'll let you know the numbers after my heads and cam whenever my knock sensor decides to quit fussing.

I'm getting horrible gas mileage, but my car is running SUPER rich. I'm thinking I might have a leaky injector.
12-13mpg city, 15-17mpg highway. I wish it was fast enough to back up that shitty gas mileage

Stock M6 with 3.42's. My first freeway trip the A/C was blasting, and traffic was heavy so I was always having fun in the passing lane. Still got a solid 28 on the trip. I am in the process of dropping in 3.73's. Hope that won't change this cheap ride.

Hey, you have any plans for those 3.42's? And is the rear end the same on the 96 Fleetwood as it was on the Camaro? Ie, would I be able to toss those 3.42's into my car? (The Fleetwood had 3.42's as an option of the tow package.)

94 bird, LT1 a4 with 2:73,s/daily driver (great for all the freeway driving i do).. though ive never bothered calculating my MPG, they r extremely poor. i was told to reprogram when i installed my 160 stat or else id get poor mileage, well its the truth i live in the a busy californian city, stop lights every block and WOT is called for when passing = fill up every 2-3 days
only mods:
K&N intake
hypertech ignition
3" flowmaster cat-back
set of BFG G-force 16"ers
love my car
