Anyone have this problem with Hooker LTs?
Put my Hooker Lt's on my 96 LT1, about 3 months ago, and when i take off from a dead stop it sounds like they(the LT's) are bouncing or vibrating off some thing else like the k member or ?
Anyone ever had a similar problem Thanks!!!

I have the same problem but I don't really care about it. I assume when the engine moves/car flexes that the headers do hit the K member but that's only on take off. With my steering knuckle, there was direct contact when I installed them but I just took a ballpeen hammer and made me a dent in the primary for clearence. Works like a charm.

I know its not the y pipe b/c its also a Hooker y pipe, everything matches up, i'm guessing its the k member. will check it out tomorrow. What do you guys reccomend shaving the k member, or bending the LT's?
I think I will bend the LT's.
