Well glad to see you found the issue!!! (Wont be needing those injectors anymore I take it ?? )
I routed my wires UNDER the old metal braket on the block. I also used twist ties to try and keep them away from the headers. I have some arcing but my wires are completely stock (119K on them, I will be replacing them this week) so I think they just got old.
Let me know what you guys figure out. Its a pita to route those wires.

well, if this helps any and if you're realy into doing it. I buy my wire, teminals, boots, etc in bulk. I custom make wires for guys w/ f-bodys that have L/T's. I run them long enough to come up through between the tubes and use an assotment of colored or just black zip ties to separate them. A little trick. Wrop one around the wires, and one in between each wire, around the first tie and tighten all. Looks cool and is an awesome looking deal. Any stock made wire is not long enough to go past each tube and come up through to clear the tubes.
