Default Throttle Body for supercharged motor

I have an Supercharged LT1 and everything else is stock. Was wondering if changing the size of the throttle body would be worth it. What kind of effects would it have

You could see a decent power gain, but don't expect great gains. As I said in the other thread, there may be better things to spend your money on at this point in time. I'm guessing you're already running a full exhaust, may want to invest in injectors and a tune next if you haven't already. I'm also assuming an inline pump came with your setup? You could also check out some blower cams as well.

On a blown motor a bigger throttle is definetly worth it. If you're gonna upgrade go to a 58mm, this will require you to pull your intake and match the ports(stock ones are only 52mm).

Check with your blower manufacture. IF you are trying to run it on a stock motor most do NOT recomend using one

IF you do run one and have an A4 programing is a MUST

To Add To All Of This You Do Not Have To Remove The Intake To Port It. If You Would Like To Know How I Can Send Picks On How I Did It With The Intake Still On The Car. I Have A 95 Z28 With A Few Mods. You Might Also Have To Cut And Tune You Tps And Change The Position On The Opening Of The Tb. Because The Car Will Run Rich Or Not Fire Right. When Doing That You Will Have To Get A Meter To Test The Sytem On, Off, On, And After Test Run. To Get It Back To Stock. The Positive About Adjusting Your Tps Is That You Can Make Your Car Faster But Your Engine Light Will Come On. It Will Not Effect The Car If You Set It Right. I Always Change Mine When I Race To Help Change Fuel Curve And Timing. The More Hp You Have The More You Will Feel The Change In Torque And Responce

Might wanna think about a set of 1.6 rollor rockers, these will bring similar, if not better results with your supercharged LT1. Its like increasing the size of your cam a little. These will cost about the same or less, and require a tick more work to install but still relatively easy. In conjunction with a 58mm TB you can expect a very noticible gain in HP and torque. A tune is always a very good idea especially with your blown LT1, all three and !!!! i'm jealous

Anything that will bring more air in will help if tuned correctly, and a supercharger just compounds these results for even more gains. Good luck!

I think a 58mm tb would help alot! Anyway you can help get the air in and out would be a big gain.We keep the BBK 58mm tb's in stock for $304.95. A set of nice headers would help also, we have the new stepped Kooks headers in stock ready to ship!!
