New Pacesetter Longtube Install
Just purchased the Ceramic coated Pacesetter LT's
and on the Driver side, the end of the collector sets up in the body cavity about 1 inch higher than the body brace that the fuel lines run behind. There is no way I can slip the Y pipe on this. Anyone have this problem yet, and is this typical for any LT's?

I just put my pacesetters on a couple weeks ago and had the same prob. I bent the drivers side down a little bit with a 2x4. I don't have a y pipe anymore, went with duals so I can't help ya there. The reducer was a very tight fit though, maybe a half inch to an inch of clearance.
Try gettin a 2x4 or a bar in between the frame and the header collector and try to pry it down. I had to use a 2x4 after using a steel bar. I thought I had it bent down good enough but when I got the duals put on it was still a little too close. Let the headers warm up, that'll make them bend easier.

The only thing I can get in between the frame and the header is the tip of a prybar. No leverage though! I think I'm going to have to wait until the next time it is up on a lift. Although I might try heating the headers up, that's a good idea, thanks!
