Default Surge at cold idle?

Just got my delteq system put on with new wires and plugs. It seems to kind of surge at idle when it is cold and do it worse when it goes into gear. It seems to clear up though once the car warms up and it runs like a freight train. Any idea on what this could be guys?

When I first start it when cold it kind of takes a little longer than usual. I then put it into gear and the RPM's drop like it is almost going to die and then it kinda pops back up. This happens each time when I come to a complete stop and then proceed to go again. Any ideas guys? I am kinda in the pits when it comes to money right now. I just hope this is a CHEAP fix.

*Here is another update*

This morning I started up the car and it sounded like my car had a huge cam in it. It kept on loping really really bad. I then put it into gear and it surged and came back up. I tried driving to class the way it was and when i was slowly accelerating it caused everything to shake and the car was just stumbling like crazy. Then 20 seconds later it would clear up for a second or two and then go back to running like crap. It didn't stop running bad until I reached school where the car had warmed up. Does this still sound like the same problem??

This is a LT1 though, right..? Maybe some spark plug wires aren't plugged in correctly..? I'm still a little confused, but I would first check that all wires are plugged in securely, and to the right plugs. Do you have headers? Could it possibly be a burnt wire?

They are all plugged up tightly. I do have headers but the wires are routed so they won't get burnt and they aren't as of yet. I am just kinda curious why this happens mainly when the engine is cold and not when it is warmed up.

PS: Yes this is an LT1 Trans Am.

Just went out and started up the car, totally cold. Still runs terrible. I went ahead and jotted down every number off of my scanmaster while it was running like crap. I know a lot of these numbers look really funky but usually get a lot better once the car warms up. All of these numbers were taken in a parking lot when the engine was COLD. Tell me what you guys think...

LT1 Scanmaster Readings from 1994 LT1 A4 Trans Am:

MAF = 13
SP = 14-16
LP = 02.6
rP = 02.5-02.6
LbL= 128
rbL = 128
CEL = 16
Lin = 128
Rin = 128

02 R = 054

IAC = 88
BAT = 13.6
EGR = 0
MAP = 10.6-10.9
BAR = 29.6

Well the Delteq tech had me try out a different opti-box last night. Well the new opt-box did nothing and actually seemed like it made things a little worse. I am not sure what to really try next.

Wow, your map seems really low even when cold.
I guess it could have something to do w/ your elevation and where your located.
