My bone stock 35th Anniversary with 500 miles ran a best of a 14.0 with no tire spin at all. Other times were in the 14.20-14.40 range.

with headers, ET Streeets, 3400 stall, cutout, free mods, tuning and other goodies my car only went 13.40's.......

And no, Im not a bad driver some LS1's are just slouches....

Then again I bought a bone stock 1998 trans am with 110K miles on street tires spinning ran a 13.40 no prob's

LOL your on friggin crack! I don't think I know of anyone in AZ to run 13.2 or better bonestock. I have a buddy that ran a best of 13.9@100 in a 00 SS A4 on the same night I ran 14.2@99 both cars bone stock. I have another buddy whose car runs great and he ran a best of 13.4@106 in his 00 SS 6spd. It seems that the average ls1 runs mid-high 13's where I live, so I do not see how a poorly running ls1 will run 13.2! That is and extremely exagerated comment.

And there 60 footer times where?

You are on an LS1 site..check the times list and do a search, please.

I do not need to do a search. I see real world times all the time and your statement is far from the truth. Thats like saying " even horrible drivers run 13.7's in bonestock lt1's".

Is it true that that the LT1s were underrated too? I thought they were 265 HP (GM advertised) right? What is the real ratings then?

Sorry, but I agree with the others. If we're talking about stock LS1s, that is just plain wrong. The average running and average driven LS1 will run a 13.3-13.7. Good running and well driven LS6-intake-equipped (01-02) LS1s can hit 13.1s and 13.2s. I have heard people saying they can hit 12s in a bone-stock LS1, but I have never, ever seen it myself.

I guess I just have a different opinion of what "Well driven" means. Anyone who can't get a 2.1< 60 footer on LS1 just can't drive. 95% of all drivers are average drivers, 4% just suck, and 1% are Evan Smith. I am not a good driver since I got a 2.2 60 footer in my only stock pass which got me a 13.5.
