If you look in your Jegs magazine they sell them in the LT1/LS1 section. Youd think they were already modified, but it doesnt look like it in the picure.

I've got some polished B&B ones with alternator clearance for sale. They won't clear a stud girdle, but are plenty tall for the rockers.

Looking for $100 w/ oil cap, 1 K&N breather on each, and Felpro blue silicone rubber gaskets RTV'd to the cover, and allan head bolts.

There are pictures of the notched side here. I don't have much time today and only had enough time to give one cover a quick rub out, they've been used for mock up only and had/have some greasy fingerprints on them. I can get a pic of the other cover if you want, but it's basically the same with no notch, and a factory oil cap opposite the breather.

Thats funny, I just found those on Ebay for sale and bought the exact same set before you even posted. Total shipped to my door was $101 although I dont think it included the breather or gaskets.
I am curious now why your getting rid of them though, did they seal good?

I hope you guys find this useful. It is an easy mod and you can use just about any valve covers you want, it would seem. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=218821

I'm selling them because they came with a new engine I bought, and I already have fabbed valve covers to clear my stud girdle and have -AN fittings welded on them.

That won't work for the tall covers listed...unless you want to cut the rear bearing off the alernator
