Default Anybody Have Carbon Fiber Driveshaft?

Does anybody have the carbon fiber driveshaft on the Thunder Racing website? They say you will see a 5% gain in horsepower at the wheels. If anybody runs one is it worth the extra money?

I see it as a waste of money unless you need something that strong.

I agree. Until you are getting into really high hp applications I would not spend the extra money for the CF.

Its going to be super smooth and balanced, and give a more refined feel. Also worth power over an aluminum shaft.

I would buy one, BUT this is what scares me. What happens when you go over a pebble and kick it up onto the shaft while it has torsion on it. I would guess it would shatter?

I have one on my 95 Z, its probably been on there 3 years with no problems. Its pretty pricey so there are other things I would do first, but once the basics are covered its a good mod IMO.
