Default A good car? How much power does it have?

Hey everyone. I've decided that since I'm halfway done with college pretty much, I don't want to be bogged down by big monthly payments, yet I still want a fast car. So I found a car that a friend of a friend is selling. It is a '94 Z28 body, had only one owner who built up the engine, promptly put a hole in the block, and parted it out. The guy selling it bought the body for $1800, and found an LT1 and T56 from a one owner, totalled '97 30th Anniversary SS with 62K miles. He then got 16" Trans Am chrome wheels with Nittos, LS1 leather interior, aftermarket CD player, etc., etc. The car is that grayish purple color, has leather, t-tops, all power features, a BADASS Harwood 2" (or 2.5", not sure) cowl hood. The engine is the best part. It already has a small (210ish duration cam), Stage II ported heads with larger valves, Moroso CAI, TB airfoil, retuned computer, MAC headers/ORY, Flowmaster 3" driver's side exit catback, BRAND NEW Ram clutch, and Hurst shifter. How much power would this car be putting down? I'm thinking it's good for at least mid 12's....am I wrong? Anyways, he wants $5500, and I think it's a DAMN good deal. Should I go for it and have a fast car that's totally paid off and has most of the work already done to it? Please give me advice as I'm an LS1 guy and still relatively ignorant to the LT1 realm. Thank you very much.
Adam

Welcome to the darkside

Rough estimate maybe 320-350 RWHP. Depending on the cam specs.

Depends on your driving ability and the track. But most likely, it should do so easily.

400 is easily possible. get true longtubes, ORYP, 52 or 58mm tb(your choice, both will provide the same numbers on heads/cam applicatiuons for the most part), bigger cam(preferably custom grind for the numbers your heads flow), gears, retuned, roller rockers, EWP, dump your cats, and you should see the numbers you want. like many other posts say, there are numerous 400 RWHP LT1's that are primarily heads/cam cars.

Ok, so I know the car does have midlengths, that small cam, which will be the first thing to go, stock 3.42's (will go up to 4.10's), the computer will be retuned when I change cams. It has roller rockers - 1.5's, what is EWP? The cats are already gone. I was also going to add underdrive pulleys and a ported LT1 intake as well. Would larger injectors help?
