Default Install LT4 hot cam kit in a 94 Z

Have a few questions. THis is a buddies car and I'm not 100% familiar with the LT1's (i have 2 LS1's)

1. Do we have to change the rocker studs?

2. Is there an easy way to eliminate the a/c comp? the way the belt routing was it didnt look like it. Or is there possibly a idler pully kit to replace the comp. like the stangs have?

3. How should the car run, its an A4 will have 4.10's and a 3500 stall. has some other minor bolt ons and a catback.

Thanks for the help.

Hey Josh.

You dont have to change the studs unless he wants to upgrade the rockers to 7/16's for a little added stability. The rockers that come in the hotcam kit fit the stock studs.

There is a AC delete pulley out there althought I dont know much about it. Im sure others will chime in that know more about that.

With a mail order tune, he should be just fine. He has almost the same mods as me and with a smaller cam like the hotcam, it should be very streetable.

Hope this helps you out man. Talk to you later.

That car must accelerate fast as hell! Yeah there is an a/c delete pulley, I'm not sure if you remove the compressor to put it on though.

Its slow No, its by far the fastest 2.73 gear car Ive ever seen in person.

EDIT--A/C delete pulley - GM pn 10115875. Expect to pay no more than $50 after shipping.
