depends on if you've got longutubes or not, cats or not, and what kind of sound you want.

i would go with the hooker if you dont have headers and plan on getting them or getting rid of the cats.

I have the Hooker cat-back, no cat, RK Sports headers. Everyone who hears the car loves the sound. It can be loud enough to get pulled over if I'm on the throttle but quiet enough if I'm easy on the gas.

I've had them both. Loudmouth is awesome for a while then you get tired of the drone on the highway. Hooker doesn't drone at all, sounds great. Loudmouth is better material though. I overall prefer the Hooker but sometimes miss the loudmouth. If you want to be obnoxious get the loudmouth, just get ready for bad rides on the highway.

The Hooker wont rust near as fast as you think it will. And when it does its gonna be mostly surface stuff on it, no holes will be formed for years. By then you'd probly get a different one anyways just to change it up.

i have the hooker on hooker super comps with an ORY. it sounds awesome, especilly when you get on it. the instruction i have say that all the pipe is aluminized. the website for hooker (www.holley.com) says that the areochamber mufflers are availbe in stainless, so you dont have to worry about it rusting out either. I've had a bullet, flowmaster super 40 dumped where the cat used to be, and now the hooker cat back, i definetly reccomend it.

I've got the LM and I've run it with LTs (no cats) and stock manifolds, either way it sounds beautiful. The noise only gets anoying on long highway trips (mostly because there's no carpet or insulation from the front seats back). I'll never get tired of turning heads and setting off car alarms in mall parking lots
