Default Pacesetter vs. Hooker headers

Im trying to decide between the two headers. Are the hookers worth the extra $150 over the pacesetters? Please share your expreriences with either or both headers. From summit's picture of the pacesetters, it appears there is no flange on the end of the headers. Is this true? In the description though it states 3 bolt flange.

By the way, theses are the hooker super comps (Jegs PN 520-2231, Summit PN HOK-2231HKR) or the pacesetter long tubes (Summit PN PSM-70-2239).

I was in the same boat as you a few weeks ago and came across this thread on Camaroz28.com. Very good comparison, plus pics. Hope this helps.

I personally see no reason to fork over the extra cash for a product that is at par, maybe even sub par with pacesetters.

Kooks. Except no other Kooks are stainless steel so they won't look like crap, ever. All coating will eventully blister, not stainless steel! Sure they Kooks cost more but it's well worth it to never have to replace them.

I've put in two sets of hookers on an LT1 and a set of pacesetters on an LT1 and an LS1 and I prefer the pacesetters. I think they install easier and the ground clearance is better.
