Will stock valve covers work with comp 1.6 rrs?

10-4 they will clear as long as they are the cast steel body and roller tipped. The cast aluminum body will hit as far as I know.

Yes they'll work and if for some reason you run into problems it's nothing a little clearancing won't fix.

just trim the rolled edges on the bottom of the fins off...

It could just be me....but i haven't done this to mine. I got CC 1.6RR and I dont think there hitting the valve covers...atleast i hope not. It is possible that they dont hit?? Thanks, Dave.

mine did for some reason, maybe some bough narrow body, and some people bought wide or something.

I am sure gm does not have the best of tolerances when it comes to stamping their valvecovers. Mine cleared with no problems but we put a set on a friends car and it sounded like it hade marbles under the valve cover. We trimmed it up and he was good to go.
