Default Will It Hold UP??

Next Saturday Im headed to the track. i have a co worker that owns 01 Z (also a member of this board) that thinks hes gonna Walk all over me at the track. were both doin some trash talkin but i want to be sure that i can back my words up. He has A free moded A4 3.23 LS1 and the rest is stock and i have a 97Z M6 with 3.42's my mods include the LT1 free mods, pacesetter LT's, March pulleys, SLP LM, K&N Cai, B&M ripper shifter, Cags Delete... and maybe a 160 T-stat and a mail order tune. do I stand a chance or not?

Both cars in same good running condition.... Hate to say it, I think the LS1 will get ya. Only differences are the tranny's and gears from what your saying, right?. Assuming you've both never drag raced, he's going to have an advantage (in my opinion) off the line since he can just stand on the brake till the lights go green where as, you'll be trying to hit the sweet spot with the clutch and gas so that you get a good takeoff without spinning the wheels. Let us know how it goes.

Worried? Maybe I should say no mod fest like you have had going on in your quest to "try" to outrun an LS1.
