I got my tuning through madz28.com.
A cam swap can get expensive, once you include all the goodies you will need to get it to work CORRECTLY, and actually get that new found power TO THE GROUND.

Your kinda starting out how I did, only I did have less mileage(64,000), course now I've got 8,000 more miles on the car then you and yours is an older car. LOL!
I started out with gears for my first mod, went from 2.73's to 3.42's, seemed to pep the car up a bit, my car is a auto, I didn't get to the track for some stock times unfortuantly.
Then I got sub-frames, strut tower brace, and lower control arms. Car was really stiff after those were installed I could tell a big difference. Got some ployuthane bushings to. I started out at the track after I got those on the car, and was running 14's, I was also learning to drive the car as well. Then I went elec. water pump, NGK TR55 plugs, MSD 8.5 wires, and the car ran much better with those. New opti-crap as well, they suck, also got the car tuned at CAM and that helped a lot, biggest difference was the Yank 3000 stall i put in along with a tranny cooler, you need drag radials on the back of that thing. Best so far of 13.60 @ 102 mph. A lot better then those 14.70's I was running stock.Cam and heads are next in line for me, only thing I can do now is spray, or go 3.73's, and well I'd rather get heads and cam. I'm going to have to pull the engine and have it machined. 148,000 miles and counting.....hehehhe she runs good though but street tires that car just wastes them....LOL!
You are going to have fun modding the car, and I know your money is limited, and I was doing those mods through college. College students are broke all the time.
