People With Lt4 Hotcam...? Hey Was Interested In Hearing From People That Have Put A Hot Cam, In Their Lt1 Cars What Kind Of Hp Did They Get And What All They Have On Their Lt1 Motors,combinations Like ... Compression, Heads, Etc....anybody Email In And I Appreciate Any Help Thanks.............

thats my mod list. im not real sure what im putting to the ground because my tranny was shot and i switched over to a th350 tranny, and they arent the quickest thing around with a 2.73 rear end. im expecting my pcm to be back from pcmforless with the new tune this weekend, ill post up the results of that. i have full supporting mods for a cam, the LT4 sounds and performs awesome. its a good little cam for a daily driver that you might want to take to the strip sometimes. as much as i hate to say it, i wish i hd went with a more aggressive grind. the hotcam is definetly a good cam, and you will be satisfied if you get the kit for the right price, but there are cams out there that you could swap in with a set of springs that would make alot more power. ballparked i'd say somewhere around 320-330hp depending on what your other mods are. a port job, some long tubes, and other little things could push that well over 350hp.

Haven't dynoed the car yet, but I have nice ported heads, Hot Cam, shitty exhaust and ! Cats. Car runs high 12s @108-109ish with stock tires, traction control ON (causing SERIOUS bogging off the line) and stock 2.59 rear gears. Power can be anywhere from 320-360 RWHP depending on tranny, tuning ,heads (stock vs ported) etc.
You can see my setup at cardomain.com/id/thatguyscamaro. I'm guessing my setup with be 550 to 600 hp. It could be more if I used a different cam, but this is going to be my everday driver. Well, maybe not everyday driver, but it will get some drive time on the streets whoopin some ss ***. Hey, my tag is going to be "SS-This". I like that. That's good.

*any high flowing aftermarket cat-back$125 and up

I just got my car back last week from getting the LT4 Hot Cam Kit and a LT4 Extreme timing set installed and all I can say is god damn. I am so happy with the performace it puts out now. We also did the LT4 hot cam tune. I highly recommend it.

I had an LT1 with the LT4 hot cam in a 3rd gen Camaro. The rest of the motor was stock. It had crappy shortie headers, Tremec TKO and a nine inch rear and it still put down 315RWHP. It was a great running not too radical cam.

Thanks for the compliment. I thought it was a good idea, but now it's really not a sleeper anymore so I'm gonna change the tag.
