With the sealing fuel caps on todays cars isn't the evap system needed in order to allow some air into the tank? If you suddenly run out of fuel with 1/2 a tank try unscrewing the fuel cap as you might vacuum lock the fuel system as the fuel level goes down.

my thought exactly, escpecially with how proned my car is to having small backfires from the nitrous (stock converter and even with the 3200 pill, it still tends to want to "fart" a little)

i have a breather on my passenger side valvle cover. shold i put the tube back on?

It's up to you. Do you want your system to work 100% correctly? If it was me, I would.

does anyone have a part number for the vent tube mine is trashed and i threw it away when i tore down the motor and the dipshits at the dealer cant find it in their system.
