I was just wondering cuz I never really thought about it. It seemed to really hit close to home cuz I was thinking about going from a 175 shot to a 250 and since I only have ported stock castings (although a stage 3 CNC port), your previous post got me to thinking perhaps I wouldn't gain anything. SURELY with my port work a 250 could yield sufficient gains. Thoughts?

you should be fine with 10.8:1 with one step colder but if you are gonna spray over 200 it might be wise to swap em out before the visit to the track.. Im by no means a lt1 god but just read alot about these situations. I am gonna be close to 11.5:1 so I will be running two steps colder.. Right now I have 104s which are one step colder because im breaking in the motor and wont be spraying for a lil bit.. Once the juice goes through it ill be ussing 103s... I think out of all plugs NGKS fowl easiest ...thats just what ive seen from experience.. My tr6s fouled like no other

im sure the effects of driving on a colder plug will just be that your motor wont be as efficent... If the plug is too hot you have preignition/detonation too cold you have unburned fuel/run rich.. fouling out plugs will happen too
