1/4 mile mph??
1/4 mile mph?? I have a full bolt on 94 z28 A4. I ran a 13.66@ only 97 mph. My 60ft time was a 2.17. The car does not seem to pull as hard in 3rd gear as it does in the other 2 so do you think it could be starving for fuel. What other things might this be. I just thought that mph did not match the e.t. that i am getting.

What rear ratio do you have? 2.73 or 3.23? I am assuming a 2.73 which would make sense. My Vette has a 2.59 in it. When it does the 2-3 shift down the 1/4, it drops out of its power band and pulls like a slug.

Free Mods (tb bypass. CAT delete (not gotted) MAF de screen)
Air foil
Throttle Body (52mm with a built in air foil)
1.6 roller rocker upgrade with springs
Full tune up (fluids, plugs, wires, etc etc a good running car is a fast one)
Electric waterpump
Under drive pullies (you may get 1 peak hp, but your under the curve numbers are great)
Coil up grade (MSD, or Crane)
Ignition box
Headers
Cat back exhuast, maybe a cutout
Suspenion
Gearing
PCM knock modual
Tuning
If you did everything, I am real surprised at the MPH, thats waaaaaay low, even for the 60 foot. Even if I spin bad, I still get a decent mph, crappy et but decent MPH.
I would put a fuel pressure guage and check the pressure, maybe a compression test, get datamaster and scan your pcm. It may be knock retarding. or running waaaaay lean.

STALL!!! That is where a lot of your et lies. That and suspension/tires. The LT4 knock module is lame...ask ed wright (famous tuner), he never uses them. Check your fuel pressure, and also who tuned your car? It could be pulling timing out or something like that....so the tune may not be great yet. Oh yeah HPP3 isnt a tune. Some drag radials, 3:73's, 3000+ stall, and minor suspension work (subframes, LCA's, PHR, springs) could easily cut a second of your et if your car isnt a pig. Just my .02.
Its been noted, especially when you do headers that a false knock can occur. The PCM picks up on it and retards timing. yes get it, its in expensive and can give you back to full timing.
But get it scanned, and get some data on the car. A Laptop, AKM cable, and Datamaster will sort most things out in a jiffy.

I made 6 passes with the car and the highest mph was 99 on a 14.00 run. I dont know what i have done with the slips. How would i check the fuel pressure in 3rd gear at wot cause thats where it feels like it falls off a bit?

My best run was a 13.893@100.31 MPH, and that was with a cracked transmission, no tune up, no headers
Now I wanna bring it to the track with my LT's and tune up and hopefully run a 13.4-5.
