Default What Spark Plugs to run with nitrous?

I just wanted to know what spark plugs are the best/coldest or whatever out there to run on my 383 lt4 with the (NX MAF kit-->up to 300 hp)
I've got some Tripple Platinum. But figured I would need colder ones.
thanks

They don't last as long as platinum, but they tend to work better for the time that they do last

IIRC plantium tipped plugs on forced induction or sprayed applications is a no no. Just stick w/ the standard copper core units.

Ask for PT# 4177 or sku number 19650164 for the TR6. Ask for PT# 3951 or sku 19650153 for the TR-55. Our system goes by stocking number not PT#. I show that just about every single one of our warehouses have these plugs on hand. You should be able to get them the next day or same day depending on the store you go to and what PDQ warehouses they can order from.

Stay away from bosch platinums. The plugs are not indexed properly for most GM's including LT1's. Copper plugs can dish out more spark than platinums but dont last as long. There is nothing wrong with copper plugs and are actually better b/c they are designed for our heat range. Ac Delco, Autolites, NGKs work best for our cars

Default +4s

i havn't had any problms with the bosch +4s PT# 4458. you don't have to worry about indexing the plugs with 4 electrodes.

Mutiple electrodes is a sales gimic and platinum is a BIG nono with spray or boost. If you felt a power gain when you swapped those in it was because the old plugs needed to be replaced and you would have gotten the same gain from any copper plug in the right heat range.

Let's get all the GOOD recommendations for spray or boost in one post
Autolite 103 or 104, 103 might be better for bigger shots like asudecat is asking about
NGK TR6
The Delco r42lts slowpoke mentioned should work well too but are the road less traveled(nothing wrong with that) most guys use the NGKs or Autolites.

Platinum as stated a couple times already is totally wrong for spray or boost the ONLY benifit it offers is less gap erosion.

agreed. Especialy about the +4. 9 out of 10 people that try them will never use a bosch plug again.

Default +4

i did not notice any HP gains or losses. i just like the idea of the plug being indexed with out having use index washers. i have notice that the +4s have lasted a lot longer than the delco platnums that cam in the car. those are garbage in my opinion. is that the same R42LTS that was mentioned or a different one. its been so long since i have used delco plugs i don't remember.

i have never tried a copper plug. i might give them a try next time. i am still NA though. will the copper still be a good application for me? and if i go copper which is the general opinion as to which is better, autolite, champion? are the NGKs that have been mentioned copper?

All the plugs we are recommending for nitrous use are copper, copper just means a standard plug which those Autolites are. For NA I use the NGK TR55 or Autolite 104 the 106 is listed as correct but they tend to run a bit hot and can ping a little.

For anyone wanting to use Delco platinums for NA and long life then try the ones for the 96-7 cars they are a bit better plug being double platinum instead of the single used 95 on down.
