HAHA that bracket up top is crazy. Basically the same thing that speed inc sells (only theirs looks WAY, WAY better) without the $400 price tag. You have my interest and I will be doing this mod soon, I don't need A/C anyway.

Did you just use the stock alternator and a basic idler pulley from a parts store? I know this thread is as old as the forum, but anyone have any info?

ok this old but i googled and found this thread. im swapping a 95 LT1 Z28 into 88 silverado TBI i want to keep all accesorys and like to have a serptine belt. so where can i locate the brackets please. yes im keeping AC also..

Check SpeedInc they already have 3 setups with polished brackets, one kit deletes the ac and ps, the second deletes ac only and the third kit (the one I have) keeps everything but moves the alt to drivers side lower where the smog pump would go.

thread from the dead. Speed inc is out of kits with no projected manufacture date. anyone have a write up for a relo kit that retains ps?

I had a buddy mod my bracket. Single best engine appearance mod if your not using AC hands down! Gotta love tall valve covers!

Im putting one together in the next couple weeks, it takes a little fab work. I'll post pictures when im done.
