Was there anything you hated about them?

BBKs and Magnaflow? Hey guys,
I got a 95 TA LT1, right now with stock exhaust... I am moving to Europe (the reason I got the car) so I need to stay emissions legal, and since my cat is gutted and such Im just going to do a full exhaust.
I have pretty much decided on a Magnaflow catback system (or... if I can get a used Corsa), and have been looking around at headers and saw that for $350 you can get BBK headers with a Y-Pipe, which would save me alot of money... I am not going all out performance on this car, it will be my daily driver in Europe (I have a 73 Charger with a 440 Police Special as my other car).
My question is mainly with those headers will I see performance gains? and what kinda opinions on them are there generally?

I had some on a dual cat LT, might be a little different than the single cat. I thought they were terrible. I had a hard time finding a Y-pipe w/ cat that would work with them.
Plug access was about the only thing I liked about them. I did notice a performance gain with these over stock exhaust, but not as great as SLP shorties.
I would reccomend getting some SLP's.

i had no problem with my y-pipe. i used the piece they sent for the adapter and everything was great. before i ever thought of wasting the money it would cost to buy the slp shorties i would do long tubes with cats and the emission crap since you need it. you cant beet long tubes even if you do have to pass emissions. i believe the hooker lt are cheaper than the bbk as well.

What kinda performance should I expect (also doing Magnaflow at same time)? I mean right now it is the price that is really driving me towards them... They come with the Y pipe (well thats what they list).
