I need to know if a 36mm sway bar is too much. Or should I just get the 35mm??
And also will I need one for the rear. Because I was going to purchase a kit with 35mm front and 25 rear. But I have found a cheap 36mm front. And would like to know if it is any better.

well I dunno. Mycar is looking to have somewhere around 500 HP with 250 shot. Daily driver. A 5-10 trips to the drag strip a year. I want good handling. Im a crazy driver.
let me know it the 35mm front and the 25mm rear will be ok. Or is it any better to go with a 36mm front.

fromt sway bar has zero to do with the track, especialy considering that most remove it. Rear sway bar for keeping the car straight on a launch should be as large as you can get. If your not going to do auto X but drive the car to teh track you can either keep the stock front bar and stick on poly links and bushings, or get a slightly larger one with poly links and bushings

why what exactly does it do?
By taking it off how would this help me on the street? And also how would it help me on the Drag Strip?
Or by getting this package how would it help me on the street?

to answer your question though get just the 36mm front bar. the 25 in the rear may be too big for handling. if it is too large it will cause the backend to step out when going around corners. this is called oversteer. it maybe be fun when controlled, but when you dont want it to happen its no fun. its actually pretty damn dangerous.

I autocross my T/A about once a month and I don't have any sway bars (I haven't upgraded, still have the stock), but the F-body guys that go out there tell me to just upgrade the front sway to a 35mm and just leave the rear alone. I'm not to knowledgeable with suspensions but they were telling me that when you are turning you want some flexibility in the rear suspension and if I put a thicker rear sway bar in my car they would have a good show while I'm making my away around the course trying to keep my car under control. Like the others said before me, the rear is to help keep the car strait in a strait line, so if you like to drive crazy on the streets then I suggest you hold off on getting a different rear sway and just stay with the stock.
