Default 94 Z28 Throttle body bypass?

I know there is another thread on here for a bypass, but that is for the 95-97. How do you do the 94's? I heard it was a little harder. Also, for an a-4 is the throttle body bypass even necessary? Will it give me any HP? If so, how much? I heard it just makes your car run crappy in the winter and the car may not start. Also, someone told me if you do it, a little bit of smoke comes out of your exhaust when you first start the car. I don't know if there is even a point in doing it, if these things are true and I don't even gain anything...If someone can give me some insight, I would appreciate it. Thanks

I did it and have zero issues. Just take the two water hoses on each side of the TB and hook 'em together with a coupler and some clamps. Costs like a $1.

Is there a page on here that shows you how to do it? I thought I had to go out and buy a custom hose or something. I really don't know where to put the radiator hose, and I don't think clamping it would be such a good idea. I mean, what is it popped open and got all over my opti or something...Anyway, if there is a guide somewhere I would appreciate it, thanks.

You just clamped the radiator hose? No leaks or anything? How long have you had it done? Also, did you notice a difference? Like when you went to the track or anything. Or possibly a dyno...

its a proven mod. i believe you can find that at www.ws6.com your not going to see or feel a difference, but it has been proven to work and is worth you time. it only takes a very short time to do.

I'm thinking about doing the throttle body bypass tomorrow. I was going to call goodyear up and have them make me a hose. I don't want to plug anything, because i'm too paranoid of it opening up and leaking on my opti. Are any of you guys from the florida st.pete area? Maybe someone can guide me to get this done right somewhere. I know it's a simple little mod. But, I would rather get a hose made. Don't I need a heater hose to? I don't think it's long enough. That's what my friend said. If someone can just tell me exactly what I should need (parts wise) that would be great.

You dont need any hose man. You're making this out to be a lot harder then what it really is. Go to the hardware store, buy a barb fitting, and two hose clamps and connect the two ends that are coming from the TB together. DONE.
