Default $1,000 to spend, what to do?

well i have a little over 1k i can spend on my car. im selling my wheels and now i want some go fast parts. what are some pretty decent mods i can do and see lower times in the 1\4? all i have now are 3.73s and cat back...

You could either cam it, or buy some headers and a convertor.

The converter will be the best money you ever spent and will give you the biggest bang for your buck besides nitrous.

also vote for convertor...... depending on which brand you go with... IF you have enough money left over, go for Long Tubes....

agree start where its needed..get the verter and soem headers..1k you hsould have a little left over for sfc's or lca's..

AGREED...... Cut my 60 from 2.2 to 1.9 on street tires and 1.8's with a DR. And also picked up about 5 tenths in the 1/4 with just a stall.

absolutely a converter. No question, nothing else will make as big of an impact on your car. You'll need one also to run a bigger cam.

how much does a good converted cost? and how do you pick a converter?


I know they biggest bang for your buck and i've seen the difference in timeslips but idk?
