Default Finally some progress on the SB2

Well after a few weeks of not working on it for various business reasons, we made some progress tonight and got the motor in the car. To our delight, everything cleared . Check it out.

Hey that set up looks real familiar. My buddy Neal (PNYKILR) had a very, very similar set up in his '97 T/A. That thing was bad azz! Good luck with your project.

Eric

Thanks. I don't think the paint is specifically that for a Pontiac but it sure does look like it. A friend painted it so I don't know what he used.

That is going to be awesome when you get it done. How many RPM's did the motor pull on the dyno run video?

is that a 396 LT1 with 15 or 18 degree SBC bowtie heads? I had planned on building on with my bonus money, but couldnt make it stretch for the ammount I got for re-enlistment. AND pay off bills.

1. Thanks everybody.

2. It's a 396" LT1 with SB2.2 11 degree heads.

3. Yeah Shorts remember that thing back then, I had that ratty dual exhaust on it with the bullet mufflers, it was louder than it was fast. I remember you pulled me from a roll in the rain. Mainly cause I was a chicken **** **** with it being wet outside
