It's not really worth it. For the same price ($2500) you can do the basic bolt-ons and an LE2 heads/cam package from Lloyd Elliot and be putting down ~415 rwhp. The LT4 package will only get you ~360rwhp.

Yeah I am going to agree with him...what ever numbers summit gives you is probably how much power its making at the motor

I have the kit and I have no regrets. My car pulls hard. It depends on what your looking for. I was looking for good, quality parts that would be a DD and emitions legal. I've heard alot of good things about Lloyd Elliot to, so just check into him and see if he has your answers that you want.

The LE3 is pretty much reserved for stroked setups. The LE2 would be better suited to a stock motor. Check with Lloyd though, give him a call. He will obviously know better than I.

Another vote for LLoyd. What summit promises has to be at the motor and Lloyd can give you the same numbers at the wheels

The HOT cam is not emmisions legal and on a 97 I bet the heads are not either though they probably would be for 96 on down. The LT4 kit is favored by those who did not or will not do adequate research, simple as that, same people who think the LT4 intake is an upgrade for the LT1 .
