Default How many miles do you guys have on your LT1s?

How many miles have you guys' LT1 cars seen? Also, what mods are you running, and how long have they been on? Finally, list any track and dyno numbers you might have.

Thanks fellas, I'm just wondering how many modded high mileage LT1s are out there.

I know you pretty much know my store but here goes for everyone else....

at 92000 miles I did cam and headers rocker arms poushrods springs etc...

95000 I sprayed the crap out of it..like at least abottle a week...

104000 I spun a bearing..but not from spray just from me neglecting oil level checks

now 105000 but motr is all new and so is everything else so it doesnt really count anymore..

But my ten bolt NEVER blew or had problems

I have 89k. K&N CAI, Underdrive Pullies, Hypertech Chip and Thermo, Raptor Muffler. No clue how many miles the mods have had on them, I bought a modded car to save myself the money. So far it has just had a few mild problems, the passenger side window motor is out, and now my right blinker isn't working. But it will be fixed tomorrow I hope.

Anyway, I plan on just doing new exhaust, headers, stall, intake and throttle body. Maybe 3.73's, but I plan on buying a new SS (hopefully a 2007 GM Willing). And at that point I will be out of College and making the big bucks so I think I'm gonna turn my Z into my Strip car. Maybe throw a 572 Big Block in there, a Supercharger, and all the other goodies. My goal is 900HP and a car that isn't streetable . Kind of a hobby to keep me busy, plus who doesn't love the strip?

144,000, bought it new so it's seen hell from day one.

SLP CAI since it was new--
best of 8.96 in the 1/8 with just that when it was new

mods in the last year--
3:73 gears
pacesetter LT's
true duals with bullets
SLP short throw shifter
spec stage 2 clutch
Mickey ET's
18" eagle wheels
just started learning to tune it when I broke an axle

best of 8.54 @ 84 in the 1/8 with all of the above

52MM TB
9" with 4.11 gears (I'll be done with that next week hopefully and we'll see what it does. Also fabbing a ladder/z bar setup)

New times next friday if I don't have to work!!

I need to get to a 1/4 mile track sometime too!

Mine has a little over 112,000....

Mods consist of edelbrock Shorties, magna flow cat-back,moroso cai, 4.10 gears, rebuilt rearend with eation posi, and a pro 5.0 shifter....Im actually just recently sold the magna flow and im in the process of selling the shorties...Going with longtubes and true duals with x-pipe and dynomax bullet mufflers.

I haven't had any track runs cause the transmission is poppin out of 3rd pretty bad so I decided not to go to the track until I get that fixed...

The owner of the car before ran a 13.2 at a trap of somewhere around 102-103...

I really wanted to run it a few times at the track the way it is before I throw the cam in, but I highly doubt that will happen....as I am going crazy for a cam

I had exhaust, chip, UD pullies, K+N CAI, air temp sensor, descreened MAF, thermostat, coil, MSD, 8.5 mm wires, and I'm sure I forgot a couple more. Ran it like this from 52,000 until 105,000, developed a major miss due to a stretched timing chain. For the last 5000 have been running a 383 setup with well over 12,000 grand into it. My biggest problem was I couldn't keep a good trans in it. Now I finally found somebody who can build a good 4L60E, and the trans has been flawless with well over 500 horse going through it for 4,000 miles now. I had a problem with the convertor, but the problem was mainly my stall speed was too high for my application.

92,000 miles. Bought it in Jan 03 with 82,000 bone stock and have been modding since then. (mods in sig) No runs yet with the line-lock or waterpump though, not that they will make a big difference.

Ran a best of 13.15@106 last year with the 10-bolt and 3:42s. Ran 13.08@107 this year with the 12-bolt and terrible wheel hop. I need to get my new torque arm in
