What do you mean? Have you done something different since that best time or are you asking what you would run under perfect conditions and a better launch?

Possibly a 12.7 with a 1.9 60'. Shouldn't be too hard with the 3:42 gear...

That combo seems about right or the time. Given that you can knock the 60foot down you will gain 3-4 tenths in the 1/4 and maybe 1-2 tenths in the mph but again maybe its the weather your running. Best times often come in the cold weather with decent track prep. One thing hurting you is no cyl head work. Opening up those ports may give you more top end.

but again, i just noticed its a m6 so you may not be consistant, or that you really cant get on the car too hard with out spinage. So work on the launch

is there something that I don't know? This isn't the first time I've saw someone say "take off your front sway bar". What would that do besides drop a few pounds?

My hubby has taken his off of the SS, it does reduce weight on the frount end, just like re-locating the battery to the trunk. Mine is still on but not bolted up, so the car defintley doesn't corner like it use too. The less weight on the frount the better you want your rear end to plant itself on launching.

blue95 - Like I have been trying to tell you, get that rear end beefed up and slap some drag radials on it and you be slapping 12.70's in the face! Good launch and good tires, you can't lose. Well maybe the rear end, but hurry up with that 9-inch and let her rip!

Course, ya know blue you might get away with 12.70's on your stock rear end like Clint has been doing, WITH drag radials on the car.

removing the front sway bar allows the body to lift transfering weight to the rear to push it down giving you more traction. With the front bar removed and only a cheep TQ arm I am cutting 1.9 60 foots on STREET tires that way.

EDIT: remember people. The general rule is for every .1 you cut from your 60 foot you go about .15 faster in the 1/4. if you go from a 2.1 to a 1.7 your going to drop close to if not more then .5 off.

Thanks everyone. that was in 95 degree weather. and i have a shift light with 6000rpm pill. I know i need tires. about to put a 9'' in the car, i've broke one 10 bolt already. about to put some ported heads on the car. hoping for low 12's high 11's on a 1.6, 1.7 launch.
