Default Best mileage in my life!

...After installing 1.6 Aluminum RR. '93 M6 Z28

23 MPG today on a 200 mile trip.

I've kept track of my mileage at every fillup. My before install highway was 21 mpg. I attribute some of that to easy on-ramping.

That seems kind of low for the highway w/ an M6. I did 25mpg with my auto/bone stock and 26mpg with a cam (230/236) and M6.

Flag has gotta be raised on a cammed lt1 getting 26mpg. Maybe downhill with a 40mph tailwind for 3 seconds

My Roadmaster wagon with an LT1 fully loaded for a LONG trip blasting the AC gets a minimum 23 on the highway, with two people and luggage weight had to be between 5300-5500, so yeah I would call 23mpg still low. My cammed stalled, geared Caprice even gets 22-23 highway with no headers yet once they arrive bet they push that number up a hair.

It is true. I got 26mpg going to and from Orlando to Georgia (F-body Gathering). I do however have 3.23 gears which I forgot to mention when I posted. I will see how well my mpg does with 3.73 within the next few weeks, but it should still be pretty good since my tune is dead on.

26 mpg, wow, I'm jealous

My car has been throwing code 32-EGR valve problem sometimes on the highway. Do you think that my "not the best" gas mileage could be attributed to that or the fact that my car has 150,xxx miles? Also, what comes to mind is that my car has one cat and is speed density...mabey '93's have less mileage then the other F-bodies?

I'm not real concerned with gas mileage, just as long as it doesn't suck. It's just the status of a 13.xx second car with good gas mileage.

There is no sence beating the car and shifting at 6 grand in every gear unless your at the track. Why not be easy and save money on gas while your driving on the highway?

Because we have appendages between our legs called ******** that are rather large and force us to beat on the car whenever we get a chance to safely do so.

We all have that, but some of us have something between our shoulders that is larger then a peanut which allows us to control the amount of gas we burn in everyday situations.

But please, if you love to burn that much gas share with me the wealth of your bottomles, low cost gas pump. I could use a cheep fill up.

My brain is in the same location as my throttle control appendage that I just talked about.

Ask my ex-girlfriend, she'll tell you. I haven't thought with the brain in my upper head in a while.

My H/C M6 car gets about 25 or 26 on the interstate. With the cruise on at 75-80 mph im good to go.

Even with the AC on its still mid 20s.

Ive never been on the highway for a long period of time but i get like 15mpg round town which sucks. Probaly because my foot never comes off the floor. As long as my dad pays for the gas I could give a crap less. If only he knew
