Default anyone here interested in a LT1 head/cam 420+rwhp setup?

Fellow moderators.....this is my last resort in selling this stuff...posting here

Selling this stuff is proving to be difficult. I assume becuase some people shy away from solid rollers?? It really is no different than a hyd roller, aside from just checking the lash every 5000-6000 miles. I have had zero problems with this setup, and it makes some pretty good power. 4000 miles on this stuff. The car went 12.0@116 on STOCK heads, mid 11s@120+mph is what this stuff will do with a good tune/traction. This setup also pulled 22mpg on the highway. Idles like a HOT cam in a stock motor....very driveable!!

-LT1 heads, fully ported (ALOT of port work), very nice work, no flow numbers, made 420rwhp with a GM 846 cam
-Comp cams 236/242 .564/.570 112 solid roller
-Comp cams 977 valvesprings/ti retainers/10 degree locks
-Crane 11522 solid roller lifters
-Comp cams magnum pushrods
-Comp cams ProMagnum 1.52 roller rockers
-Cloyes 9-3145 double roller timing chain
-7/16" studs
-guideplates

I will sell the whole package for $1500 shipped and will even throw in a set of LT4 composite valve covers for the buyer. Will not sell the valvecovers seperate.

are the heads decked at all. i want to get rid of my heads, cam and intake set up and use something different. who ported them? and how do you think the set up would do on a 396 nitrous motor?

The heads are not decked more than .005" (if they are) and the chambers have been opened up some.....I would say around 58-59cc's. These heads came off a World Challange Camaro, so I do not know who did the porting, but definatly someone top notch. I do quite a bit of porting myself, and have spent alot of time on flowbenches. IMO, these heads are definatly very nice.

On a 396, they will definatly make alot of power NA, with killer airflow velocity.

Thanks!
Jason

Or, if someone is interested (and semi-local!)

I would sell the whole motor/tranny setup since it is still all together.

Complete LT1 engine w/the above valvetrain (12.0@116), McLeod single disc clutch (3k miles), and a perfect T56 transmission. I would include the PCM that has the motor basically completely tuned in.

Anyone within driving distance of NY interested in it complete?

Thanks, Jason

how much for it complete--not exactly local, but willing to drive if the price is right. Reply here, or PM me.
