Is it worth it on a stock car? Worth any hp/tq?

It’s not worth anything unless your Lt1 module is reading false knock. The reason people upgrade to an lt4 knock mod is because the have a louder engine For example aftermarket rockers or headers. In these cases the Lt1 module will see these new noises as false knock and pulling timing witch causes less horsepower. The lt4 module is less sensitive therefore not picking up false knock due to loud valve train ect. And so you know you can have your lt1 knock mod desensitized with tuning software or a tuner can do it for you.

I've heard that the Knock Module doesn't work with 93 Z28 (Speed Density) cars, is that true? Because I might buy one someone down the road if it is needed.

No, but buy one anyway, and throw it in. You'll need it later down the road.

Yes and no. You can detune how aggressively the PCM responds to knock readings (pull less timing) but you can't desensitize the sensitivity of the knock sensor in the tune, that's done only with the KM or with a different sensor.

Oh, and keep in mind the OBD2 cars and OBD1 cars have knock sensors that output signals in a different range. I'm not totally convinced that the LT4KM, therefore, really helps OBDI cars that much.
