Default Dyno guesses?

I have a 94 Z28 A4 with a little bit of mods. I have underive pulleys, moroso CAI, descreened MAF, 160' thermostat and exhaust without the cat. I was wondering what you guys think I would dyno.

Also, if any of you know where I can go to get a good tune let me know. All i want to do is run a mid 13. Thanks everyone

-Jay

A stone stock LT1 dynos about 230 at the wheels. With your mods you would honestly see 260 at the wheels. With traction on the line I'd say you have mid 13's in the bag on a cool night if your car is tuned up.

Wow, you really think I got 30rwhp out of those mods? I hope so. By the way, how do you know a bone stock LT1 makes 230 to the wheels? Have you seen it? I would think it make about 250, since it makes 275 to the crank. 230 just seems a little low if you have that much to the crank. Although, I know it's possible. Just my 2cents...

I also wanted to let you guys know I drove an A4 05 GTO 6.0 liter today. Honestly, didn't feel much faster than my car at all. Maybe i'm crazy, but i feel pretty confident i would take it from a dig. Up top it feels like it has some ***** though. I thought they were supposed to be insane....

Also, does anyone know how what those new charger R/T's run?

LT1 dynoing 230 RWHP stock is really low (ie one that has been ragged out pretty badly). More realistically you would put down between 240-255 RWHP stock with an A4. With that being said

Pulleys-4 RWHP
CAI-5-10 RWHP
Descreen MAF-0
160 T-stat-0
catless exhaust-5 RWHP

So, between 260-270 RWHP. Depending on how strong the car is.

Don't read much into the horsepower "ratings" of 4th gen F-bodies. They are truthfully more like 300 FWHP (LT1) and 350 FWHP (LS1).

Dodge Chargers are low 14 second cars from the times I am seeing.

Your the winner!!!! Having been to god knows how many dyno sessions in the past 10 years...I have only seen "2" real stock autos..right down to paper air filter...On a dyno jet SAE corrected they put down 228 and 235 respectivley. I have seen way more manuals that were bone stock including mine make 250-260 SAE.... there are some autos though that lock the converter at 90 or so. I would imagine if they were dynoed you have that 245-255 autos (I have seen there program but never a totally stock one on the dyno)

Oops almost forgot, I think MetalBeast is right on with that 260 rwhp number...cheers...

What do I win?

BTW, why such a high gear on your car? Thats almost as bad as the 2.59s I am running in my vette. And if I am not mistaken, Bizzatch350 put down 256 RWHP bone stock in his A4 Z28. Just food for thought.

Man, I feel abused...

Just becuase I'm stock doesn't mean I'm slowwww... Easily mid 11's with my combo Actually, I run a 3.73 gear and I am slowww

I just wanted to quote on what I'v seen over 10 years, remember I'v only seen two real stock autos and that was years ago..Maybe his locks the verter or runs really good (Unlocked converters, just take off 5-6% off of Manuals and your there). A friends auto 95 car did do 285 SAE rwhp with locked verter with a CAI and my old SLP headers (stock cat) plus a closed Borla (I figured that probably added 30 rwhp to the engine)....seemed decent for 50k mile auto car...
