I routed the e-cutout wiring through the boot in the console (6 speed) just made an X cut on the lower boot of the shifter and router throught their.....

Has anyone ran 2 E-cutouts right after the headers like on the QTP Cutout y-pipe??

i know it's like running open headers but is there any draw backs to this??

Like said before it feels like you loose some small amount of torque right off the bottom start, but then it feels to breath better up top. Its all in preference, i have had mine uncapped for 2+ years now. I wonder if it affects any gas mileage from uncapped to capped? It seems that if the motor was more efficient with torque down low you would get more mileage for everyday driving.

Sorry my mind is all about gas mileage lately. OOOPs too late i have a V8!

What is the rest of your system like? You can't just throw a cutout on the car and expect it to work. There is a science to where it needs to go depending on your existing system and the needs of what your looking to do. Moving the cutout near or away from the motor will directly change the Tuned RPM for the exhaust. Need all the detail that you can give before sugestions can be made

Dude i always get looks from ppl. Its like they have never heard a V8 before??????????????? it is sick mine is right at the after the cat like 2 inches.
